In the last year, McCloskey has written a soundtrack to the nationally acclaimed WPSU documentary, ?Telling Amy?s Story?. Tracks from his last record (2009?s One Night Bland) have recently been featured on NBC, MTV, The Discovery Channel and History Channel among others. He keeps an insane playing schedule, working nearly 300 nights a year, and if you have been lucky enough to catch him and his crackin? band, the Hi-Fi?s, you get the feeling you have seen something special. It's pure energy; it's a "raunch and roll" show that has opened shows for notables such as Alejandro Escovedo and Ryan Adams. If you are not one of the lucky ones, you'll have to settle for the CD's and you won't be sorry.
